Harvest of immaculate hand-picked grapes. Cold maceration ('cold soak') for 18 hours followed by gentle pressing and then fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine was left to rest for a while before being bottled.
Yellow stone fruit on the nose, with herbal and mineral notes. Clear and crisp on the palate, with beautiful tension and slightly salty finish.
Sourced from vineyards in and around the village of Escherndorf, where the soils consist of shell limestone.
