Selectively picked grapes. Gentle pressing and followed by sedimentation to clarify the juice. Subsequent partially wild-yeast fermentation in stainless steel vats.
A fresh and wonderfully fruity Riesling Kabinett. Citrus zest, pineapple and yellow fruit on the nose. Lively on the palate, with a harmonious balance of sweetness and acidity and a smooth texture. A delicious, classic wine for moments of pure enjoyment.
The grapes for this wine were sourced from three terraced plots from the Rothenberg, Pettenthal and Hipping vineyards situated on the famous Roter Hang ('Red Slope'). Red shale and a variety of weathered soils dominate here.
