Hand-picked grapes transported swiftly back to the winery. Triage and gentle pressing. Fermentation in 1'200-litre oak vessels. All the estate's wines are vegan, i.e. no animal products were used in the vinification process.
Fresh nose of peach, green fruit, citrus, quartzite and floral notes. Nervy on the palate, with an intense mouthfeel and ripe, exotic notes leading into a long finish.
The south-south-west facing slope lies above the municipality of Johannisberg. The Taunus quartzite is covered with medium to deep loess and loess loam.
