Meticulous sorting in the vineyard to first ensure that all the fruit is immaculate, and second, to forego the need for fining agents or any other treatments back at the winery. Whole bunch pressing and wild-yeast fermentation in stainless steel.
Pale lemon colour. Aromas of mandarin, pear and pineapple along with a hint of aniseed and black tea. The palate has fine residual sweetness held in tension by juicy acidity. Persistent on the finish with citrus characters. This Riesling Kabinett is a delight to drink.
