Hand-picked grapes transported swiftly back to the winery. Triage and gentle pressing. Fermentation in 1'200-litre oak vessels. All the estate's wines are vegan, i.e. no animal products were used in the vinification process.
Gold colour. Subtle, complex nose of honey, fine herbs, creamy caramel and ripe fruit. Full-bodied, juicy and extremely well balanced on the palate. This Riesling is more than ready to drink, showing depth, pronounced minerality and a fine, creamy character on a long finish.
The Johannisberg Hölle vineyard is situated above Johannisberg. Its soils consist of Taunus quartzite. This site, one of the best and steepest in Johannisberg, allows the fruit to ripen perfectly.
