Late Release

Late Release refers to wines that a winery intentionally releases only after an extended period of ageing. This can take two forms: either the wines are held back from the outset for a later release, or part of a vintage that has already been released remains in the winery's cellar and is offered again only after several years. In both cases, the additional bottle ageing enhances the wines' complexity, harmony and depth, allowing them to reach the market at or near their optimal drinking window.
