Experienced winemaker and viticulturalist Achim von Oetinger uses stainless steel vats in his cellar to ensure a controlled, precise fermentation.
Compact and slightly reductive at first, with fruity and herbal notes. The palate is well delineated, with outstanding texture, concentration, density and depth. Delicate, long finish.
The Hohenrain grand cru covers 6.65 hectares and faces south-west. Loess-loam soil on a 15% gradient.
