Manual harvest followed by fermentation in concrete amphorae and subsequent maturation for 12 months in 500-litre oak casks.
Straw-yellow colour. Complex nose of ripe red apple and ripe, already partially candied citrus, accompanied by floral hints and a slightly spicy note of star anise. On the palate, this white wine has a full body with lots of grip and power, culminating in a long finish. Only 1198 bottles were made.
From a 0.36-hectare plot planted in 1940 on a gently east-facing slope 830 metres above sea level. The soils are sandy and interspersed with gravel.
