Manual harvest only, involving meticulous selection of the grapes. Maceration (skin contact) for up to 14 days to achieve the best possible extraction of aromas, flavours and colour. Subsequent fermentation in stainless steel and open-top vessels. The wine spent 8 months in 500-litre French oak casks an Foudres up to 5000 litre in order to mature and undergo malolactic fermentation.
Nose of ripe strawberry and raspberry, complemented by fine spice, dried flowers and Mediterranean herbs. Juicy acidity and good balance and freshness on a vibrant palate. Medium body with soft, well-integrated tannins. Elegant and long-lasting finish. Limited production of only 17,000 bottles.
Sourced from vines that grow 100 to 150 metres above sea level. The local soil is a type of red clay referred to locally as call vermell. This wine is made exclusively from high-quality fruit.
