Manual harvest. A portion of whole clusters (15%) were included in the fermentation in stainless steel. The wine then matured for 14 months in used barrique and barrels of 500 liter as well es big oak casks of 1'000 and 3'000 liters (Fuder).
Rubinrot mit Aromen von schwarzen Kirschen, reifen Himbeeren, Pflaumen und Veilchen, begleitet von dezent würzigen Anklängen wie Pfeffer und Zimt. Am Gaumen wirkt dieser Rioja saftig mit feinen, reifen Gerbstoffen, zugleich frisch, ausgewogen und niemals schwer – sehr zugänglich mit langem Nachhall.
The Tempranillo part of the blend was sourced from old vineyards in Fonzaleche, Salinillas and Sajazarra, while the Grenache comes from Cárdenas.
