Selective manual harvest of overripe grapes. Gentle pressing followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel. Long maturation on the fine lees to lend extra suppleness, texture and complexity.
Spicy, herbal and ethereal notes take centre stage, accompanied by exotic hints. Lovely concentration with an impeccable vein of acidity. An ultra-delicate, playful Auslese.
The weathered Devonian slate terroir of this steeply sloping vineyard offers ideal conditions for growing grapes thanks to its south-south-westerly aspect and gradients of up to 70 degrees.
