Grapes from organically farmed vineyards, picked and destemmed by hand. Les Perruchets spends 9 to 12 months in used French oak barrels.
Delicate nose of pear, grapefruit, lemon zest and almond. Powerful and vibrant on the palate, with hints of candied fruit and a silky, mineral structure.
The estate comprises 13 hectares of vineyard around the village of Varrains in the heart of the Saumur-Champigny appellation. Les Perruchets is a single vineyard, ideally located on heavy limestone soils with clay and Silex.
