Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Cold maceration ('cold soak') followed by gentle pressing. Natural sedimentation to clarify the juice, then temperature-controlled fermentation and vinification in stainless steel.
A pure, linear, characterful and incredibly juicy Riesling. Electrifying but elegant, with notes of grapefruit, lemon and yellow fruit, complemented by a beautiful vein of minerality. A brilliant wine.
From vines that were planted around 40 years ago in a south-west-facing plot situated above the village of Siebeldingen at an altitude of around 185 metres above sea level. The soil consists of shell limestone and marine sediments.
