Grenache / Garnacha
Grenache, also referred to as Garnacha and Cannonau, is the world’s fifth most planted variety and Spain’s most important red grape. With its suitability for hot, windy, dry conditions and its tendency to set relatively little fruit, Grenache can deliver concentrated red wines with excellent ageing potential. Cabernet and Syrah add structure and body to Grenache in blends.
