Meticulous sorting in the vineyard to first ensure that all the fruit is immaculate, and second, to forego the need for fining agents or any other treatments back at the winery. Whole bunch pressing and wild-yeast fermentation in stainless steel.
Pale lemon-green colour. Aromas of mandarin, freshly cut lemon, and green apple. The palate has a pleasant note of residual sweetness that dovetails beautifully with the wine's inherently juicy acidity, giving this Riesling its fresh, streamlined character as well as tremendous drinkability.
Grey slate dominates the south-facing Niedermenniger Sonnenberg.
