Château Monregard la Croix AC Pomerol 2020

Complex aromas on the nose, with black plum, blackberry, blackcurrant, chocolate, spice and a whiff of smoke, complemented by earthy notes. Concentrated and structured on a medium to full-bodied palate, with juicy, dark fruit and ripe, rounded tannins. The finish is spicy, peppery, elegant and long-lasting.

A 1.3-hectare vineyard in Pomerol planted with Merlot vines aged around 50 years old. Part of the Clos du Clocher property, this special plot with sandy blue-clay soils is surrounded by some of the region's (and world's) most famous wine estates.
