Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Gentle pressing followed by cultured-yeast fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel. Maturation without malolactic fermentation, then bottling.
Pale lemon in appearance, with gooseberries, blackcurrant and exotic fruits such as mango and passion fruit on the nose. Compact, highly concentrated and assertive, with racy acidity.
Im Lee is a particularly sheltered south-facing site with a favourable microclimate, overlooking the municipality of Döttingen up to an altitude of 328 metres above sea level. Its soils are rich in loam, above a stratum of Jurassic limestone.
