Meticulous sorting in the vineyard to first ensure that all the fruit is immaculate, and second, to forego the need for fining agents or any other treatments back at the winery. Whole bunch pressing and wild-yeast fermentation in stainless steel.
Pale lemon-green colour, with a fresh nose of pear, mandarin, citrus and herbs. This dry Riesling remains slender on the palate and shows juicy acidity and refreshing fruit characters on the mineral finish.
Grey and blue slate dominate the south-facing Krettnacher Euchariusberg.
