Meticulous sorting in the vineyard to first ensure that all the fruit is immaculate, and second, to forego the need for fining agents or any other treatments back at the winery. Whole bunch pressing and wild-yeast fermentation in stainless steel.
Pale lemon colour. Nose of mandarin, pear and pineapple, complemented by a slightly tarry note and a hint of aniseed. The residual sweetness and the pure, crisp acidity are in perfect balance on the palate. This Kabinett is persistent on the finish, showing mandarin and slightly spicy hints.
Grey and blue slate dominate the south-facing Krettnacher Euchariusberg.
