Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Cold maceration ('cold soak') for six hours followed by gentle pressing, then fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel. Subsequent maturation for six months on the fine lees before bottling in the spring.
Fresh on the nose, with pronounced citrus as well as apricot, nectarine and hints of cracked stone. Linear, streamlined and cool on the palate, with juicy acidity and saline minerality on the finish.
Weingut Theo Minges grows vines on a range of different terroir – from loess loam and red sandstone, to various types of calcareous soil.
