Made from meticulously hand-harvested Riesling fruit. Primary fermentation in stainless steel, then traditional bottle fermentation with 18 months of ageing on the lees. Manual riddling during this time, followed by disgorgement.
A fresh, fruit-driven Riesling Sekt with aromas of citrus, apple and white peach. Dry on the palate, with a fine mousse and a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Lovely vinosity and tension, combining approachable fruit expression with elegance and freshness. Invigorating, distinctive, and full of varietal character – this bubbly is a joy to drink.
Quality begins in the vineyard – and this Riesling Sekt is no exception. Cover crops in every second vine row are conducive to biodiversity, light defoliation aerates the bunches and increases their exposure to sunlight, while selective hand-picking optimises the quality of the fruit.
