Manual harvest only, involving meticulous selection of the grapes. Maceration (skin contact) for 30 days to achieve the best possible extraction of aromas, flavours and colour. Subsequent fermentation in stainless steel and open-top vessels. The wine spent 10 months in 500-litre French oak casks in order to mature and undergo malolactic fermentation.
Deep ruby. Rich aromas of darf fuit and roasted hints on the nose. Rich and juicy on the palate. Refreshing acidity provides lovely structure and ends in a lingering finish.
Sourced from vines that grow 100 to 150 metres above sea level. The local soil is a type of red limestone referred to locally as call vermell. This wine is made exclusively from high-quality fruit.
