Low average yields. Selective manual harvest involving up to three passes through the vineyard. Wild-yeast fermentation in large 2,000-, 3,000- and 4,000-litre oak casks as well as in stainless steel vats. Then gentle pressing. Six to seven months on the fine lees for added complexity and creaminess. No filtering or fining.

Made from a tiny crop, this full-bodied, silky wine caresses the palate with a panoply of flavours including ripe, exotic fruit, spring flowers, and the finest oak. Wonderfully fresh on the finish.

Deep, weathered Devonian slate soil containing elements of sand, limestone and volcanic quartz porphyry.
