Meticulous sorting in the vineyard to first ensure that all the fruit is immaculate, and second, to forego the need for fining agents or any other treatments back at the winery. Wild-yeast fermentation in stainless steel.

This off-dry Ortswein (village bottling) has a very balanced, gentle yet stimulating nose. Delicate aromas of mandarin, citrus and apple. The palate has that signature Saar crispness, with playful acidity and a discernible note of sweetness marrying harmoniously to form a delicious whole.

Grey slate dominates the south-facing Niedermenniger Sonnenberg.
