Riesling "Morstein" Grosse Lage trocken

Deep, assertive nose showing grapefruit, spice and slightly reductive notes. Full of tension on the palate. Chalky, precise and very complex. Notable backbone.

A cool, elevated plot comprised primarily of clay marl and limestone. The south-facing site was replanted with Riesling clones from the Mosel in 2012.
