Mehrere selektive Lesedurchgänge brachten optimales Traubenmaterial, welches schonend gepresst wurde. Der Most wurde für 24 Stunden per Sedimentation vorgeklärt. Der Ausbau erfolgte sowohl in Edelstahltank, Stückfass und Beton-Ei. Vor der Füllung im April lagen die Weine in ihren Gebinden auf der Feinhefe.
Notes of green apple, pear, quince and citrus dominate the nose, with smoky minerality providing a subtle accompaniment. The palate is dry, showing beautifully integrated, juicy acidity. Long on the finish, with stone fruit and a slightly saline minerality.
Ziegler has extremely varied soil – ranging from loam and loamy sand, to gravel, sandy clay, and weathered limestone.
