Special characteristic

Farming according to strict biodynamic principles, eschewing the use of synthetic treatments. Selective harvest. Fermentation in cement tanks, followed by gentle pressing and subsequent maturation for 22 months in French oak vessels (50% first-use).

Deep ruby. Fine cinnamon and ginger spice as well as blackcurrant and elderberry on the nose. Earthy, spicy notes on the palate, with juicy fruit and assertive, concentrated tannins. Long and vibrant on the finish.

Sourced from an amphitheatre-like slope with exceptional loam and pebble soils. The low fertility of this terroir lends the grapes tremendous fruit character and complexity, which is tailor-made for this Cabernet Franc.
