Manual pressing in small stainless steel tanks, with six to seven days of maceration (skin contact) following fermentation. Maturation for 22 months in classic first-use Bordeaux barrels, with racking four times a year during this period. No filtering.

Dark fruit, mint, graphite and lavender, with earthy, spicy and floral hints. Powerful, dense and balanced, with velvety tannins and a fresh finish.

Perched on a cool, exposed mountain top with meagre and infertile Franciscan shale soils, this 16-hectare estate is dry-farmed according to the principles of sustainable viticulture.
