Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of around 30°C for 28 days. Subsequent maturation for a minimum of 30 months in large oak and an additional 9 months in the bottle. No filtering.
The 2020 Barbaresco Riserva 'Pora' has a generous, open nose showing cherry, blackcurrant, violet, spice, leather, tobacco, cedar and a hint of crushed limestone. Medium-bodied and elegant on the palate. This cru is already drinking well but will benefit from a few years of bottle ageing.
