Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of around 30°C for 28 days. Subsequent maturation for a minimum of 30 months in large oak and an additional 9 months in the bottle. No filtering.
This Barbaresco Riserva is a little reticent on the nose, with red berries, violet, menthol, tobacco and leather. Medium-bodied but a little more powerful on the palate compared to the other crus. The tannins are assertive and still need time to resolve. Persistent on the finish with fine, salty minerality.
Clayey limestone with sandy veins.
