Organic
Manual harvest and meticulous selection followed by destemming and subsequent wild-yeast fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine spends 12 months in used French oak barrels.
This Ribera del Duero shows plum, ripe berries, dried herbs and notes of vanilla and coffee on the nose. It has a fresh and approachable medium-bodied palate with soft, velvety tannins.
From various sites in and around the village of Gumiel de Mercado, where the vines grow on loamy and calcareous soils interspersed with sand at lofty elevations of 830 to 900 metres.
