Hand-picked grapes. Gentle pressing followed by fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of around 15°C, then maturation on the fine lees.

Medium lemon. Crystalline minerality and aromas of ripe white fruit on the nose. Expressive on the palate, showing depth and assertiveness, white fruit again, slightly candied citrus and a perfect minerally note on the finish.

Sourced from the generally south-facing steep slate vineyards of Leiwen that rise up from the sheltered Mosel river valley. This rocky, mineral-rich terroir has a warm microclimate, offering perfect conditions for Riesling. Grey weathered slate soils ensure good drainage.
