Special characteristic

Meticulous selection of hand-picked grapes. Gentle pressing followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel. Subsequent maturation on the fine lees before bottling in April of the following year.

Pure aromas on the nose, with fresh pome fruit and fresh spice. Beautiful texture on the palate. Fresh and electrifying, with lovely ripe fruit and salty minerality on the finish.

Ziegler has extremely varied soil – ranging from loam and loamy sand, to gravel, sandy clay, and weathered limestone.
