Gentle pressing of the grapes. Fermentation in 350-litre barrels (60% first-use and 40% second-use). Subsequent maturation, including malolactic fermentation, for 12 to 18 months on the fine lees. Only minimally filtered before bottling.

Pale yellow with green reflections. Nose of white acacia blossom, lime tree blossom and lemon blossom, with mandarin and pink grapefruit notes. Concentrated and rich on the palate. Full of energy. Very complex. Beautiful purity. Slightly salty on the finish. Exquisite minerality.

The vines of Puligny-Montrachet occupy brown limestone soils, or soils where limestone alternates with clays and marls. The soils are deep in places. In others, the rock is at the surface. Where there are clayey alluvial soils, these are coarser higher up and fine-grained at the foot of the slope.
