Special characteristic

Hand-picked grapes transported swiftly back to the winery. Triage and gentle pressing. Fermentation in 1'200-litre oak vessels. All the estate's wines are vegan, i.e. no animal products were used in the vinification process.

Complex on the nose, with white fruit, chalk and a hint of reduction. Spicy, delicate palate with tension-building structure, salinity and ripe minerality. Wonderful value for money.

The Johannisberg Hölle vineyard is situated above Johannisberg. Its soils consist of Taunus quartzite. This site, one of the best and steepest in Johannisberg, allows the fruit to ripen perfectly.
