Fermentation on the skins for 14 days and maturation for 12 months in large oak.

This Pinot Noir has a ripe red-berry nose underscored by subtle wood notes. Exceptionally long on the palate, with spicy characters and elegant tannins.

Eichert overlooks the village of Jechtingen, which is situated between Burkheim and Sasbach. This designated single vineyard with weathered volcanic soils has a southerly aspect and is not terraced, with vine rows oriented in the direction of the slope instead.
