A lovely blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, Merlot and Petit Verdot. The different components were harvested separately by hand at the Kaapzicht Estate before being vinified in small stainless steel tanks and in new and old oak vessels.

This red blend has a deep red colour, a lovely delicate character and balanced aromas and flavours. Blackcurrant, black cherry and plum on the one hand; peppery, spicy notes of leather, cinnamon and cedar on the other. The wine's fresh, balanced acidity, velvety tannins and rounded oak notes dovetail perfectly.

When the evening sun moves across the top of Table Mountain, the massive granite boulders on the Kaapzicht Estate take on a fiery red glow that makes them look like 'enormous red elephants'.
