Manual harvest. Cold maceration ('cold soak') of the grapes followed by fermentation and gentle pressing. Maturation in 1,550-litre oak casks.
Medium ruby with raspberry and black cherry the dominant aromas on a fresh, fruity nose. Elegant, balanced and supple on the palate. The oak is well integrated, with sweet extract complementing the tannins beautifully.
Grown on loamy, silty, rocky, well-drained soils, from south-south-east-facing vines that have an average age of 17 years.
