Farming according to strict biodynamic principles, eschewing the use of synthetic treatments. Selective harvest. Fermentation in cement tanks, followed by gentle pressing and subsequent maturation for 22 months in French oak vessels (50% first-use).
This Cabernet Franc begins on the nose with pronounced dark berry fruit, alongside plum, violet, rose, dried herbs and a hint of coffee. Very fresh on the palate, with persistent and intense flavours ranging from blueberry to earthy and spicy notes. Silky and elegant tannins. The finish is spicy and gloriously long.
Sourced from an amphitheatre-like slope with exceptional loam and pebble soils. The low fertility of this terroir lends the grapes tremendous fruit character and complexity, which is tailor-made for this Cabernet Franc.
