A single varietal Blauburgunder (Pinot Noir) grown from Broger's oldest vineyard plot (that dates back over 40 years) – 100% wild-fermented, then matured primarily in new oak barrels for 15 months. This unfiltered wine still needs some months of bottle age due to its notable tannins.

The grapes for this Pinot Noir ('alte Rebe' means 'old vine') come from vines planted around almost half a century ago.
