Maturation for 12 months in oak followed by a further 12 months of ageing in bottle.
Deep ruby colour. Generous, vibrant, aromatic nose of blackberry, plum, forest fruit, vanilla and spice. The palate is harmonious, velvety and balsamic, with fine tannins giving structure and complexity.
From plots situated at an altitude of around 830 metres in Burgos province, with soils consisting of limestone, sand, clay and gravel.
