Although Paola De Fusco and Stefano Granata only established their winery in 2000, their wines are already express the terroir of the famous Bolgheri district perfectly, marrying elegance, character and ageing potential.

Paola and Stefano began growing wine in Bolgheri in 2000. They put all their energies into creating their new vineyard, driven by an inner conviction and passion.

Two people, one goal

Paola’s family have been practising viticulture since 1900, and it was this background that inspired her to start the winery. Helped by Stefano, a trained electrical engineer, she got quickly up and running.

Two exceptional Bolgheri wines

From the outset, Paola and Stefano took no half measures in their pursuit of quality. It was a deliberate decision on their part to produce only two Bolgheri DOC bottlings – wines that express the essence of the appellation and its terroir through their balance, elegance, character and ageing potential. Out in the vineyard, the husband-and-wife team eschew the use of herbicides and apply compost sparingly. They pick all their grapes by hand, harvesting different varieties and plots separately and transporting the fruit immediately back to the winery.
