Selectively picked grapes. Gentle pressing followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, with malolactic fermentation to lend additional complexity.

Medium lemon. Expressive on the nose, with pronounced fruit notes of apricot, peach and pineapple as well as characteristic minerality. Rounded and richly expressive mouthfeel with bracing flavours. Elegant body.

Situated on the right bank of the River Serein, the 2.75-hectare premier cru Montée de Tonnerre is virtually a grand cru in all but name. Its soil consists of calcareous clay. The vines have an average age of 38 years.
