Separate maceration (skin contact) and fermentation for each clone in small stainless steel vessels over a 22-day period. Maturation, including malolactic fermentation, for 11 months in French oak vessels (30% first-use). The wine was bottled in mid-August 2019.

Ruby in appearance, this 2018 Pinot Noir is the epitome of purity. Aromatic with notes of ripe raspberry, black cherry and strawberry. Refined and precise, with gentle tannins, a superb mid-palate and a long finish.

Cuvée Number One is made from two Pinot Noir clones grown in the same vineyard situated in Green Valley, a small but very distinct appellation within the Russian River Valley AVA.
