Special characteristic

Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Whole-cluster cold maceration (no destemming) followed by fermentation in ancient Gallo-Roman vats. Gentle pressing then maturation for 12 months – 20% in first-use and 80% in used oak barrels (second- to fourth-use). No filtering.

Deep ruby. Beautiful, intense herbal nose of thyme, rosemary and dark berries. Very rich on the palate with pronounced notes of wild herbs, violet, fig, dark cherry and pepper. Concentrated and very tightly woven, with considerable length and well-integrated acidity.

The terraced slopes of the Le Poste lieu-dit encircle the Saint Cosme Roman chapel, with calcareous marl soils dating back to the Tortonian period.
