A portion of the stems were included in the fermentation. The wine then matured for 14 months in vessels of varied size, provenance and age.

Spicy, fruity nose of liquorice, ripe plum and blackberry. Dark flavours on the palate, with fresh, elegant, polished tannins and a spicy finish.

The Tempranillo part of the blend was sourced from old vineyards in Fonzaleche, Salinillas and Sajazarra, while the Grenache comes from Cárdenas.
