Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of around 30°C for 28 days. Subsequent maturation for 36 months in large oak. No filtering.
A potent, savoury wine. In 2017 the fruit is more in the background. Dark plum, earthiness, cloves, menthol and licorice lead into an ample finish.
