Made from heavily botrytis-affected fruit. Wild-yeast fermentation in new Hungarian oak followed by 12 months of maturation.
Vibrant gold colour with lustrous reflections. Intense, inviting nose of dried apricot, raisin, and fig. Generous and complex on the palate, with a beautiful balance of sweetness and acidity. Dried fruit again along with citrus zest and blossom honey. Very long, elegant and intense on the finish.
Old vines on grey rhyolite and volcanic rock, tended with the utmost care. No pesticides, lots of manual work, and very low yields. The aim is to reflect the Tokaj region's varied terroir and unique character.
