Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Gentle pressing followed by natural sedimentation to clarify the juice. Subsequent fermentation and maturation in temperature-controlled stainless steel.
Nose of white fruit, pip fruit and white peach. Very juicy on the palate, with remarkable clarity and great tension and elegance. A wine of notable finesse and saline minerality, its bright, linear character leading into a long, contoured finish.
'Ganz Horn' – a designated area within the 'Im Sonnenschein' vineyard – is a vineyard that enjoys shelter from cold winds. It is situated between 160 and 180 metres above level. The soil is a mixture of sand and sandstone as well as gravel and loam, while the incline varies between five and 20 degrees.
