Gary Pisoni of Pisoni Vineyards had a specific vision that is now being faithfully continued by son Mark, who manages the vineyards, and son Jeff, who makes the wine. In vinifying the small batches of fruit at his disposal, Jeff favours an artisanal approach: manual triage, native-yeast fermentation, no fining or filtering. Vineyard identity and respect for the wine inform all work processes.
Stone fruit, white blossom and toasted oak on the nose, leading to a mid- to full-bodied wine with delicate minerality, a fresh, crisp and concentrated palate and an exquisite personality. A stunning Chardonnay of incredible length.
